The Asia Cup 2018 is just around the corner and the heat has evaluated already since India and Pakistan are going to face each other on the ground once again.

The tension between India and Pakistan has its spark lit since you know when. The arch rivals are facing each other on the ground this September it is definitely going to be the most awaited and watched match in the homeland and across the borders.

The two teams are seen to play each other in international tournaments, including the Champions Trophy final in England last year, since India dropped off the bilateral cricket ties with Pakistan as a consequence of the Mumbai attacks in 2008.

The 2018 Asia Cup will be a One Day International cricket tournament scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates in September 2018.

The tournament was decided to take place in India, but seemingly from the tension between Pakistan and India, the tournament will now take place in Dubai.

The ICC revealed the schedule yesterday, with the biennial tournament opening with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh face to face, on September 15, 2018.

In 2016, they had opted for a twenty20 competition, which India had won. But this year, it will follow the traditional 50 over ODI.

Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are the participants in the tournament this year.

There are going to be two groups.

Group A: Including Pakistan and India and the qualifier.

Group B: Includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan.
